A lot of our review is centered on how incomprehensible this show is to people who are not us and how someone can actually become anime-literate enough to listen to our show and understand it. It is also the path towards Nirvana.
For the first half of this show we talk about alll kinds stuff, Godzilla’s racist old dubs, Arion (a show we reviewed loooong ago), Shin Mazinger (and Imagawa in general), later Fullmetal Alchemist and Avatar… it goes on…
We’re really scared of the shipping fanbase and how it engineered Korra.
Then we start talking about BUDDHA, and HAPPY SCIENCE.
It took about 31 minutes for us to get to talking about Wolf Children (Hosoda 2012).
Mom cries when no one is around, and then she smiles.
At 39:08, we talk about the Daily Anime Podcast Way to Nirvana.
Vote yes to Scottish independence.
This movie was like a horror for me.
Scariest Scene in this movie
This is pretty much the future for Ame.

We talk alot about the objections to this film, and I follow this up in writing on this old blog that no one reads.

I suppose this is the 65th entry on this website, so I guess I’ll call it episode 65 (there are some episodes of AG in this mix too).
In today’s episode, I comment on a couple of pieces of recent happenings, the Sailor Moon Crystal promotional video that has been circulating around, and the fact that we’re getting more Sword Art Online (and not Accel World).
I also misspeak, I don’t think there’s a lot of misandry, I meant to say misanthropic (people hating). I also give a shoutout to the Moe Sucks blog.
I don’t see what the problem is with the new Sailor Moon
As if talking about the Anime Of Yesteryear Podcast wasn’t enough promotions we do, we play their promo.
And then I talk about Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, naturally my favorite character is Scar!

Pokemon Unicorn: Brotherhood Episode 1 Day of the Lapras

Dear God, what have we done? In these bi-weekly episodes of the Daily Anime Podcast, we chronicle the adventures of Jeff, a young, recent graduate student with no future who has started this journey to open Lapras’s box. Little does he know he will be cursed, but this episode is just the overture to this horrific journey.
My Nuzlocke Rules:
1. If a Pokemon faints, it’s dead.
2. Can only catch the first Pokemon we encounter in an area (I bend the rules if there’s a given Pokemon).
3. Must nickname the Pokemon.
I don’t think I have had this much fun putting together an episode, although I do think this episode is kind of a trainwreck (it’s a reaaaally fun one).
